Old Songs for New Year

Old Songs for the New Year is Elias “Kimpy” Rodríguez’ solo indie music project. Started in 2009 with the EP Near Miss he explored acoustic, folk, and indie music. Followed up in 2016 by his 2nd EP The Art of Falling he further developed his style adding texture and instrumentation. In 2019 he released 2 singles: Burnt Child and Forgiveness. 2021 Brings the single On the Mount followed by his first full length album To Live on the Mount, a concept album about Jesus.
